1. Product Introduction

It uses sound waves as the medium to perform non-contact, wear-free detection of the target. The ultrasonic sensor can detect transparent objects, colored objects, metal or non-metal objects, as well as solids, liquids, or powders. Ambient conditions such as smoke, dust, or rain have almost no effect on the detection performance of the ultrasonic sensor.
2. Principle of Ultrasonic Distance Measurement
The ultrasonic pulse emitted by the transmitting ultrasonic transducer propagates through the propagation medium to the measured medium, is reflected, and then returns through the propagation medium to the receiving ultrasonic transducer. The time for the ultrasonic pulse to travel from transmission to reception in the propagation medium is measured. Then, according to the sound velocity in the medium, the distance from the transducer to the medium surface can be calculated, thereby determining the liquid level. Therefore, we can calculate the distance D from the probe to the reflecting surface as D = C*t/2 (divided by 2 because the sound wave actually travels a round trip from emission to reception; D is the distance, C is the sound velocity, and t is the time).

5.1 Installation Precautions
(1) When installing the ultrasonic sensor, the transmitting surface should be perpendicular to the measured object.
(2) Do not reverse the power line and the Output Signal line.

① Install a flange above the object to be measured ② Place a gasket with the same inner diameter on the flange

Installation method as shown below:
To prevent vibration from affecting the measurement, we fixed the rod-type magnetic line Level Meter on an elevated bracket. The bracket does not contact the water tank below; only the rod-type magnetic line Level Meter is placed in the water. When water surface fluctuations push the float up and down, the meter head calculates the liquid level change and outputs it as 4-20mA.
