Our solution employs a 200kHz high-frequency single-beam ranging sensor, offering two key advantages:
First, the shorter wavelength of the high-frequency signal provides greater sensitivity to the acoustic impedance difference at the interface between the soft sludge layer and the water, clearly capturing the true mud surface echo;
Second, the beam design features an extremely narrow emission angle, concentrating acoustic energy into a highly focused vertical downward path.
