Dr. Li Fang from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University Invited to Give a Public Lecture at Dayu Electronics
Under the warm spring sun, Dr. Li Fang from the College of Plant Protection at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University received a lecture invitation from Mr. Shangguan Mingyu, Chairman of Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dayu Electronics). Dr. Li Fang is an expert in the field of agricultural products and also a stamp collecting enthusiast. Her lecture theme, "The Elegant Beauty of Agricultural Products and Exquisite Stamp Exhibitions in Ordinary Life," sparked great interest among Dayu Electronics employees and their families.

On the day of the lecture, the conference room at Dayu Electronics was packed. Dr. Li Fang began her lecture with a gentle and captivating voice. She first distributed a laminated stamp to each audience member for viewing. The exquisite stamps caught everyone's attention, many of which were collectibles, not only colorful but also diverse in variety.

Dr. Li Fang first introduced the rich diversity and elegant beauty of agricultural products through a beautifully designed PPT presentation. She explained in detail the growth process of agricultural products, their nutritional value, and the hard work behind their cultivation, giving everyone a new understanding of these seemingly ordinary products.

Next, Dr. Li Fang introduced stamps as a unique cultural carrier. By displaying a series of colorful stamps, she shared the stories behind them and the close connection between stamps and agricultural products. These stamps not only showcased the beautiful images of agricultural products but also conveyed rich cultural connotations.

During the lecture, Dr. Li Fang also invited some employees and family members to come on stage and interact, sharing their thoughts and feelings about agricultural products. The atmosphere was lively, and everyone expressed their respect for agricultural products and interest in stamp culture.

At the end of the lecture, Dr. Li Fang encouraged everyone to pay more attention to the agricultural products and stamp culture around them, and to discover the beauty of life and the charm of culture.

Introduction to Dr. Li Fang:
Currently a researcher and Ph.D. at the College of Plant Protection, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University; the third batch of "Minjiang Science Communication Scholars" in Fujian Province; a council member of the Fujian Philatelic Association and deputy director of its Academic Committee; and a member of the Science Popularization Committee of the Jiusan Society Central Committee. She has published two monographs: "Philosophical Reflections on Insect Imagery" (Science Press, 2015) and "Insect Philately" (Higher Education Press, 2021).

In 2016, she guided the provincial-level university student Internet+ innovation project "Fuzhou Dieyun Cultural Creativity Co., Ltd." which won a silver award. Her monograph "Philosophical Reflections on Insect Imagery" was selected by the National Social Science Popularization Working Committee as an "Outstanding National Social Science Popularization Work." In 2018, she led the construction of the Fujian Province excellent continuing education online open course "Insect World on Stamps," which won the first prize in the "China's Most Beautiful MOOCs Top 100 Wonders Activity" initiated by China Education Television and Higher Education Press, and was selected as a 2018 national achievement in ecological civilization construction. In 2019, the "Desert Chapter" of the "Insect World on Stamps" course was selected by the China Science and Technology Museum as exhibition material.
In 2023, "Insect World on Stamps" was recognized as a national first-class undergraduate course.
She has successively led one project from the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Fund (education), seven provincial natural science research projects, and two provincial university student innovation and entrepreneurship projects. She has published the monographs "Insect Philately" and "Philosophical Reflections on Insect Imagery"; her paper "A Preliminary Discussion on Insect Culture and Modern Science Popularization" published in "Science Popularization Research" was republished in full on the China Association for Science and Technology website and included in "Selected Essays on Science Popularization (Continued)".
In 2020, her research topic on democratic party theoretical research won the first prize for research reports issued by the First Bureau of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee.
In 2021, her essay for the Party founding anniversary, "Comprehending the Right Path in a Small Space," was published in the journal "Democracy and Science" and won the second prize for Party founding essays from the Jiusan Society Central Committee; her series of Party founding articles written for the children's magazine "Little Star" of the 21st Century Publishing Group were listed as key topics by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
