China Railway 17th Bureau Adopts Wireless Level Gauge Monitoring System for Fire Water Pools from Fuzhou Dayu
At the fire water pool near the tunnel entrance of the Beijing-Fuzhou High-Speed Railway, the mountain-top pool requires water level monitoring. Data is collected via a level gauge and transmitted wirelessly to the pump house at the foot of the mountain, where the water level value can be displayed. Additionally, the system must provide a 4-20mA analog signal corresponding to the level value, as well as switch signals for pump start, pump stop, and fault status to other control cabinets in the pump house.
Considering the relatively short data transmission distance required on site, the large number of output signals, and the high demands on reliability, real-time performance, and interactivity, a control scheme consisting of wireless modules, PLCs, and a touchscreen is proposed.
Conditions and requirements on site:
1. The pump house must have 220VAC 50Hz AC power, with voltage stable within 220VAC±10V. If the voltage is unstable, a separate stabilized power supply is required, and its cost is not included in the "PLC control box".
2. The power supply wiring for the electrical control box, as well as the wiring for analog and switch signals to third-party control cabinets, must be provided by the user.
3. The wireless communication on site must not be obstructed by mountains or large buildings.
