The Blind Zone of an Ultrasonic Transducer Is Not Determined by the Transducer Itself [Dayu Electronics]
Through a specific analysis of measurement accuracy and the causes of blind zones, the size of the blind zone of an ultrasonic transducer is mainly related to the strength of the transmitted wave and the method of echo detection. Normally, we think about which factors of the ultrasonic transducer itself affect its blind zone, such as frequency, structure, etc.

However, the blind zone of the transducer is also related to the circuit it is paired with. About 30% is related to the circuit, and 70% is related to the probe. The blind zone data we currently provide is measured with our own circuit.

For the probe itself, the blind zone is related to the following factors:

1. Transducer material
2. Transducer structure
3. Transmitting surface size
4. Ceramic plate type
