What is the difference between an ultrasonic level differential meter and an ultrasonic level meter? In fact, the working principle of the ultrasonic level differential meter is the same as that of the ultrasonic level meter — both transmit and receive signals via sound waves. The difference is that the ultrasonic level meter measures a single liquid level, while the level differential meter displays two different liquid level values and calculates the difference between them.

Ultrasonic level differential meters are widely used for measuring the liquid level difference before and after grilles in industries such as rivers, lakes, sluices, and ship locks. They use two probes to measure the liquid levels, display them simultaneously on the main unit screen, and calculate the difference through internal processing.

Ultrasonic level differential meter can be used as an ultrasonic level meter, but an ultrasonic level meter cannot be used as an ultrasonic level differential meter, because the latter has only one probe. If you want to turn an ultrasonic level differential meter into an ultrasonic level meter, you only need to use one probe and read the value it measures, without any program changes.
