Advantages of Ultrasonic Level Transmitter | Dayu Electronics
The ultrasonic level transmitter is a favorite in the level measurement instrument industry. With non-contact measurement as its main feature, it plays an increasingly important role in the field of electrical instrumentation. The ultrasonic level transmitter has many advantages. In some harsh conditions—such as when the measured level contains a high amount of particulate impurities, when the medium in the tank is highly corrosive, or when the measured medium temperature is high—submersible level transmitters are not suitable, and many field applications favor the ultrasonic level transmitter.

The working principle of the ultrasonic level transmitter is to detect the height of the liquid surface by emitting ultrasonic waves and receiving their reflected echo signals.

Ultrasonic level transmitter has very outstanding advantages, mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Simple structure, easy reading, and very convenient installation and maintenance.
2. Long service life, stable and reliable measurement, and high accuracy.
3. Non-contact measurement, not easily affected by liquid viscosity or density, and with IP68 protection rating.
