Installation Notes for Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meters [Dayu Electronics]
Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters are well received in the market for their accuracy, stability, and ease of operation. They are mostly used for flow measurement in large pipes and are convenient to use: simply clamp the sensors onto the pipe according to the specified method to measure, without cutting the pipe, while maintaining relatively high measurement accuracy. Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters use IP68-rated sensor probes, which have a longer service life and can operate stably for 5-6 years without replacement.

Advantages of Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meters
1. Portable, easy to operate, and intuitive data reading; can memorize and store readings.
2. Suitable for a wide range of liquids, including water, seawater, slurries, oils, acids, alkalis, and other homogeneous liquids.
3. Non-contact measurement, lightweight, and compact.
4. The installation of clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter probes is simple, and probes of different sizes can measure pipes of different diameters. While maintaining accuracy, the clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter can measure pipes as small as DN15 and as large as DN3000 or above.

5. During flow measurement, the clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter does not require cutting the pipe. The probes are directly attached to a straight pipe section, causing no pressure loss, allowing flow measurement on already installed pipes.
6. Suitable for measuring pipes made of different materials, such as common metal pipes (stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, etc.), plastic pipes, and some pipes with good sound-transmitting properties.
