Dayu Electronic Rail Inspection Transducer Solves Rail Crack Detection for Railway Departments
At the request of Hebei Railway University, Dayu Company customized a rail inspection transducer to solve the challenge of online rail crack detection for railway departments.
The occurrence of fatigue cracks in steel rails seriously affects train operation safety. Timely and effective detection and evaluation of rail cracks is of great significance. The rail inspection transducer offers the advantage of easy implementation of rapid automatic detection technology.

Because steel rails provide a continuous, smooth, and low-resistance rolling surface for wheels, their function is to guide the wheels of locomotives and rolling stock, withstand immense pressure from the wheels, and transmit it to the sleepers. Prolonged exposure to immense pressure causes wear and cracks in the rails. The advent of rail inspection transducers has significantly improved railway management and development.

The rail inspection transducer uses one transmitter and one receiver; when there is a crack, the signal changes noticeably (this signal change can be observed by customers using an oscilloscope).
Dayu Electronic products mainly fall into four categories: industrial control instruments, industrial sensors, marine equipment, and ultrasonic transducers. Product application scenarios include ultrasonic distance measurement, monitoring of water level/flow rate/flow/discharge/mud level/water depth, and underwater communication/positioning/obstacle avoidance.
