Dayu Ultrasonic Doppler Flowmeter Selected for Agricultural Irrigation in Sichuan Province
Project Overview: This project is an agricultural irrigation water metering and monitoring project in Qiquan Town, Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province, aimed at measuring and managing water consumption within a smart agricultural irrigation district. The channels involved are 8 open channels within Qiquan Town (divided into 3 main channels and 5 branch channels). The goal is to establish branch-channel metering for the smart agricultural water distribution, with data transmitted to a cloud platform for remote viewing and management by the owner.


Product Selection: Based on site inspection and owner requirements, the ultrasonic Doppler flowmeter with built-in GPRS transmission module DTU was selected (capable of uploading real-time water level, instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, real-time velocity, and temperature to the cloud platform for owner review).


Power Supply: Since no on-site power source was available, a solar power system was selected to provide 12V DC power to the ultrasonic Doppler flowmeter.
