Sichuan Management Offices Replace Water Level Measuring Instruments with Dayu Radar Water Level Gauges

Project Overview: This project involves replacing the liquid level instruments at the Funan River Management Office in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Due to the failure of radar water level gauges from another manufacturer used in the earlier water level monitoring and sluice gate control system to achieve accurate water level measurement, the significant monitoring errors prevented the PLC system from accurately controlling the opening and closing of the sluice gates. After the owner and the general contractor inspected Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., it was decided to replace the existing water level measuring instruments at multiple management offices along the Funan River with radar water level gauges from Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Product Selection: Based on the on-site inspection and the owner's requirements, the DY-6910 model 30-meter radar water level gauge was selected, providing a 4-20mA output to transmit the actual water level to the PLC cabinet in the control room.

Summary: After replacing the measuring equipment on site, the previous issues were completely resolved. The actual water level is now accurately measured and transmitted to the PLC cabinet in the control room, and the system controls the opening and closing of the sluice gates without error.
