Dayu Electronics Ultrasonic Level Meter Used for Trash Bin Level Detection
The ultrasonic level meter above the trash bin detects the height of the waste level.
The ultrasonic proximity switch sensor uses the principle of ultrasonic ranging to detect objects. The ultrasonic signal is emitted by the ultrasonic probe, reflected by liquid or solid media, and received by the same probe (self-transmitting and self-receiving). The time difference between transmission and reception is measured to achieve level measurement.

The relationship between sound wave transmission distance, sound speed v, and transmission time t can be expressed as:
Formula for ultrasonic distance value
L: Distance from the ultrasonic probe to the measured object. Unit: m;
v: Sound speed after temperature compensation. Unit: m/s;
t: Operating time of the sound wave within the measurement range. Unit: s
