Dayu Ultrasonic Level Gauge Applied for Seawater Aquaculture Drainage Flow Monitoring in Ningde City
Project Overview:
Sampling time: July 2022
Project location: Hengyu Village aquaculture base, Ningde City
Products used: integrated ultrasonic level gauge, etc.;
Project overview: Due to the data requirements of the Fujian Institute of Oceanography for sampling the drainage flow of marine aquaculture, Dayu Electronics fully cooperated with the institute to conduct 24-hour flow monitoring and sampling at four seaward sluice gates of the Hengyu Village aquaculture farm.
Theoretical reference: Single-orifice sluice gate flow calculation
Q =μO b e√2gh
μO: discharge coefficient, calculated according to the orifice discharge coefficient of a flat sluice gate on level ground, μO=0.6-0.176e/h
Default value taken as 0.6.
b: gate width (equipment parameter)
e: gate lift height (received input)
g: gravitational acceleration, 9.81m/s2 (equipment parameter)
h: water level height at the station (absolute value of the difference between upstream water level and downstream water level)
Q: discharge flow, according to the environmental verification data (when the downstream water level is higher than the upstream water level, the flow is negative);
(Note: The photo shooting time for each sluice gate below is within ±3 minutes of the time displayed on the recorder)
Software overview: Based on the single-orifice sluice gate flow calculation formula, the self-developed software by Dayu Electronics can randomly extract flow data from sampling time periods according to the gate opening time, as shown in the figure below:
