With the rollout of sponge city construction plans, Fuzhou Dayu's river flow velocity sensor, also known as the ultrasonic Doppler flow velocity sensor, has sprung up like mushrooms after rain in rivers across sponge cities.

So what is a sponge city? A sponge city is a new-generation urban stormwater management concept, referring to a city that has good "resilience" in adapting to environmental changes and responding to natural disasters caused by rainwater. In recent years, floods have increasingly caused crop inundation, house collapses, and travel inconvenience, making it necessary to continuously monitor river flow velocity and water levels to achieve early warning. After several years of R&D, Fuzhou Dayu has newly launched an ultrasonic Doppler flow velocity sensor adapted to market needs.
