Dayu Electronics: Doppler Flow Meter Applied in Municipal Sewage and Stormwater Pipelines
Dayu Electronics' compact Doppler flow meter is applied in the municipal sewage pipeline in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, to measure sewage discharge volume.

Figure 1: Product image of the compact Doppler flow meter
The local municipal sewage pipe normally carries a small water volume, which cannot meet the minimum water level requirement of 12 cm for conventional Doppler flow meters.

Now, as requested by the customer, we used a compact flow meter on site to test flow velocity at low water levels, achieving accurate measurement at a minimum water level of just 5 cm. Several test points were selected, including a municipal pipe (300 mm diameter), a sewage pipe (1200 mm diameter), and a stormwater pipe (1400 mm diameter). The flow velocity readings were consistent and stable, and the customer was very satisfied.
