Dayu Electronics: Misapplication Case of Ultrasonic Level Meter

A customer in Guangzhou needed to install an instrument to measure the sludge level on the dryer below, because sludge from the dewatering machine frequently fell onto it. This was to prevent overflow, which could easily cause the dewatering machine to shut down when the sludge reached the top.

Initially, they used an ultrasonic level meter from a certain brand and found that it frequently lost the echo signal. Then they searched online for ultrasonic level meter manufacturers and found us. After analysis and guidance from our Dayu Electronics engineers, it was determined that installing an ultrasonic level meter in that confined and complex space did not meet the installation requirements. Even with an imported ultrasonic level meter, the same echo loss would occur, making it impossible to obtain reliable measurements.
