Dayu Electronics Compact Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Meter
Dayu Electronics compact ultrasonic Doppler flow meter operates based on the Doppler effect. The probe emits an ultrasonic beam at an upward angle into the fluid. As the ultrasound propagates through the fluid, it encounters impurities such as bubbles or particles (which can be assumed to move at the same velocity as the water). When the ultrasound hits these impurities, the reflected waves experience a Doppler frequency shift Δf, which is directly proportional to the flow velocity. By measuring the Doppler shift Δf, the flow velocity can be determined.
