How to resolve strong electromagnetic interference in the power supply of an ultrasonic level meter?
Dayu ElectronicsUltrasonic level meter - How to resolve strong electromagnetic interference in the power supply of the instrument?
Solution:
1. Check devices sharing the same power source as the instrument and implement electromagnetic shielding. Do not use the same power source as variable frequency drives or motors.
2. If it is unavoidable to share the same power source as variable frequency drives or motors, use a 220VAC to 220VAC isolation transformer to filter out electromagnetic interference from the power supply. The isolation transformer can only block part of the electromagnetic interference; it cannot block all of it.
3. If, after installing the isolation transformer, interference such as large amounts of ripple or pulse groups above 2000V is still detected on the power output from the transformer, use a linear power supply for secondary filtering to resolve the issue.
