Dayu Electronics Ultrasonic Level Meter Flange Installation

Dayu ElectronicsUltrasonic Level Meter measures solid and liquid media alike. The ultrasonic level meter instrument can be installed on a butt-weld flange on the vessel nozzle. Since the reflective surface of solids differs from that of liquids and is not a flat plane, this must be taken into consideration during installation. The probe's emitting surface should be perpendicular to the surface of the solid being measured, and the probe should be able to extend out from the nozzle.

In solid measurement applications, if the probe is recessed inside the nozzle, in most cases it will cause fluctuating measurement readings or even "signal loss" (drop-out) phenomena.

To solve this problem, a universal flange can be selected. By simply rotating the flange, the probe's emitting surface can be easily aligned with the solid reflective surface being measured.
