Dayu Electronics Ultrasonic Level Meter Installation Height Requirements
Dayu ElectronicsUltrasonic level meter installation height correctness directly affects measurement accuracy; improper installation height can disrupt normal operation of the ultrasonic level meter. When the transducer emits ultrasonic pulses, it has a certain emission angle. Within the area radiated by the emitted microwave beam from the lower edge of the transducer to the surface of the measured medium, there must be no obstructions.
Ultrasonic level meterWhen determining the installation height, the "blind zone" issue must also be considered. Ultrasonic level meters with different ranges correspond to different sizes of the "blind zone". Once the liquid level enters the blind zone, the ultrasonic level meter cannot accurately measure the level.
When determining the range of the ultrasonic level meter, it is necessary to reserve a margin equal to or greater than the size of the "blind zone". During installation, the difference between the probe height and the maximum liquid level height must be equal to or greater than the size of the "blind zone", ensuring accurate level monitoring and the safety of the ultrasonic level meter (to prevent the probe from being submerged).
