Functions of Ultrasonic Sludge Concentration and Interface Meter
Dayu ElectronicsUltrasonic Sludge Concentration and Interface Meter is a contact-type, high-reliability instrument that is easy to install and maintain, used to measure the interface between sludge and water. It uses ultrasonic waves transmitted through liquid to detect the boundary between underwater sludge and water. This solves the problem where multiple monitoring sites cannot simultaneously use fixed measurement methods. What are the main functions of the sludge concentration and interface meter?
1. Fault relay: This relay cannot be programmed; it only activates under three conditions: sensor failure, sensor contamination, or sensor not connected.
2. Alarm A relay: Activates when the sludge interface measurement approaches the set value, with a 2% dead band.
3. Alarm B relay: Activates when the sludge interface measurement approaches the set value, with a 2% dead band.
4. Cleaning relay: Activates the additional cleaning device only when the preset cleaning time has elapsed.
5. Hold relay: This relay cannot be programmed; it only activates in hold mode.
The sludge concentration and interface meter measures the sludge interface using a near-infrared suspended solids sensor. It can penetrate thin suspended layers until reaching the preset interface solid concentration layer. The sludge interface meter features a stainless steel housing with a stainless steel handle for convenience. After each measurement cycle, the instrument automatically flushes the cable and sensor.
