A communication protocol, also known as a communication procedure, is an agreement between two parties on the control of data transmission. The agreement includes unified provisions on data format, synchronization mode, transmission speed, transmission steps, error detection and correction methods, and control character definitions, which both communicating parties must jointly abide by. It is also called a link control procedure.
On January 12, 2022, the technical department manager of Dayu Electronics conducted this training for us, focusing on the content of instrument communication protocols.
