Dayu Electronics Open Channel Flowmeter for Farmland Irrigation Water Measurement

Ultrasonic open channel flowmeters are now needed in many places, and they can also be used with different weirs and flumes. On January 2, 2020, Dayu Electronics ultrasonic open channel flowmeter was used for farmland irrigation water measurement in Chixi Town, Ningde City.

The ultrasonic open channel flowmeter measures the liquid level in a channel or trough. When used for flow measurement in open channels, a water-measuring weir or flume is installed on the channel. The water level in the weir or flume is measured, and the flow rate is then calculated based on the water level-flow relationship of the corresponding weir or flume. The amount of water used per mu of farmland is precisely controlled, effectively promoting water-saving irrigation. Therefore, ultrasonic open channel flowmeters are almost always present in farmland irrigation areas.
