Taicang Municipal Uses Doppler Flow Meter to Monitor Sewage Discharge Flow

The municipal pipeline network in Taicang City, Suzhou, uses the ultrasonic Dayu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. ultrasonic Doppler flow meter for sewage flow monitoring. The customer reported that the ultrasonic Doppler flow meter displayed abnormal flow values, occasionally showing large data, occasionally zero values, with significant jumps.

On November 2, 2021, technical staff from Dayu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. arrived at the installation site in Taicang City to debug the ultrasonic Doppler flow meter for the customer.

The technical staff from Dayu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. found at the site that the municipal pipeline network had a lot of debris and garbage, and the customer's installation method was incorrect. Due to the influence of the bracket directly in front of the sensor, it was easier for debris to accumulate. With the help of the technical staff, the installation orientation of the instrument was changed, and the data returned to normal.
