Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Meter for Municipal Sewage Discharge Flow Monitoring
The municipal pipeline network in Zhuhai recently adopted the ultrasonic Doppler flow meter from Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. for sewage discharge flow monitoring. The customer reported that occasional negative flow velocity values appeared at the installation site of the ultrasonic Doppler flow meter.
On May 12, 2021, technicians from Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. arrived in Zhuhai to debug the ultrasonic Doppler flow meter on-site for the customer.

Dayu Electronic technicians found that the on-site conditions were complex, with a high amount of debris and garbage in the sewage pipeline. Debris and garbage would accumulate on the front end of the sensor, which caused the occasional negative flow velocity values at the installation site of the ultrasonic Doppler flow meter. With the help of Dayu Electronic technicians, the bracket of the Doppler flow meter was replaced, and the product was reinstalled in reverse orientation, perfectly solving the problem.
