The guided wave radar level meter is a type of radar level meter. In addition to some basic functional characteristics of radar level meters, it also has its own unique advantages, and is now widely used in some industries. Here are the main advantages of this level meter:

The electromagnetic pulse of the guided wave radar level meter propagates along the steel cable or probe at the speed of light. When it encounters the surface of the measured medium, part of the pulse is reflected back to form an echo, which returns along the same path to the pulse emission device. The distance between the emission device and the measured medium surface is proportional to the propagation time of the pulse, and the polarity and amplitude of the echo depend on the dielectric constant εr of the upper and lower media.
