What is the blind zone of an ultrasonic level meter? When an ultrasonic level meter emits an ultrasonic pulse, it cannot simultaneously detect the reflected echo. Because the emitted ultrasonic pulse has a certain time width, and after transmission, the sensor still has residual vibration, during which the reflected echo cannot be detected, so a short distance from the probe surface downward cannot be detected normally. This distance is called the blind zone. If the high level being measured enters the blind zone, the instrument will not detect correctly and errors will occur. If necessary, the level meter can be installed at a higher position.
