Ultrasonic Level Switch Monitors Liquid Level Using High-Frequency Ultrasonic Technology
Ultrasonic level switch monitors liquid level based on the principle that changes in the medium between the ultrasonic transmitting and receiving transducers cause variations in acoustic impedance. No hole needs to be opened on the tank wall during installation, making installation simple and fast, and operation safe and reliable. Maintenance does not require emptying the tank or using open flames, thus not affecting normal production.
Compared with other level switches, the ultrasonic level switch's level measurement depends only on the acoustic impedance of the measured medium and is not affected by medium viscosity, thereby overcoming the drawback of other level switches being influenced by viscosity. This product can be widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, food, and beverage.
The ultrasonic level switch adopts high-frequency ultrasonic technology to perform non-intrusive point level detection based on the different signal attenuation characteristics of ultrasound in liquid and no-liquid conditions. The instrument is installed on the outer wall of a sealed tank to achieve point level measurement and alarm.
