Dayu Electronics: Wireless Ultrasonic Water Level Meter is a Non-Contact Level Measurement Instrument
Wireless Ultrasonic Water Level Meter is a non-contact, cost-effective, and easy-to-install and maintain level measurement instrument. It can meet the water level measurement requirements of most municipal pipe network observation wells without contacting the medium.
The wireless ultrasonic water level meter uses the ultrasonic echo ranging principle and precise time-of-flight measurement technology to detect the distance between the sensor and the target object. It employs a small-angle, small blind zone ultrasonic sensor, offering advantages such as accurate measurement, non-contact operation, waterproofing, corrosion resistance, and low cost.
Wireless Ultrasonic Level Meter (wireless water level meter) is a newly developed product by Dayu Electronics. This product adopts the traditional ultrasonic level meter principle: the ultrasonic transducer (probe) emits high-frequency pulse sound waves that are reflected off the surface of the material being measured, and the reflected echo is received by the transducer and converted into an electrical signal.
The propagation time of the sound wave is proportional to the distance from the sound wave emission to the object surface. The relationship between the sound wave transmission distance S, the speed of sound C, and the sound transmission time T can be expressed by the formula: S=C×T/2. During the emission of the sound pulse, mechanical inertia occupies transmission time, so a small area near the ultrasonic transducer cannot receive sound waves; this area is called the blind zone. The size of the blind zone is related to the ultrasonic range.
