Fuzhou Dayu: What Environments Are Suitable for the Split-Type Ultrasonic Level Meter?

　　Dayu Electronicssplit-type ultrasonic level meter not only has a wide measurement range, but its split-type design also supports RS485 communication and programming. This type of level meter is generally used for level measurement of materials in tank-type or reservoir-type containers.

　　In many production processes, it is necessary to track and monitor the level of materials, and feed the obtained data back to the control system for open-loop, closed-loop, and interlock control, thereby ensuring the normal operation of industrial production.

　　Split-type ultrasonic level meter precautions for applicable environments:

　　1. Granular or lump materials: such as minerals, particles, lump coal, coke, plastic pellets, etc. Due to diffuse reflection, the received echoes are weak, resulting in low echo efficiency and higher installation requirements.

　　2. If you apply this instrument to measure highly corrosive liquids such as hydrochloric acid, non-fuming sulfuric acid, or other strong corrosives, please use a corrosion-resistant level meter.

　　3. Flat surfaces: e.g., liquids, moving flat surfaces such as steel plates, plastics, paper products, wood products, glass products, etc.; with good vertical installation, emission efficiency is high, meaning more echoes are received, and applications are broad.

　　4. Fixed shapes: such as cylindrical tanks, bottles, human bodies, moving carts, etc.; reflection efficiency is moderate, so installation requirements are higher, but applications are numerous.

　　5. Due to the strong sound-absorbing properties of volatile gases or dust from the following substances, they are generally not applicable: e.g., fuming sulfuric acid, nitric acid, cement, lime in storage tanks, liquids with large amounts of foam on the surface, etc.; also, if the temperature at the transducer probe exceeds 60°C or the storage tank pressure is ≥0.4MPa, it cannot be used (if applied to a pressurized or heated storage tank, this must be specified when ordering).
