Doppler flow meter is a device used to measure the velocity of water flow in pipes, channels, or rivers. It is mainly applied in the following areas: flood disaster monitoring, sewage discharge, natural streams, municipal water supply and drainage, water loss/infiltration monitoring, irrigation flow monitoring, estuary research, fisheries/water conservancy, coastal erosion research, culvert flow monitoring, road drainage monitoring, river basin monitoring, and other environments.
It can measure low flow velocities with high accuracy, requiring minimal flow velocity—measurable from as low as 3-4 cm/s. Measurement accuracy is ±2%-3% of the flow velocity range, higher than radar flow meters and mechanical flow meters. It is highly adaptable and powerful; it only needs to be installed in water, with the water level covering the sensor by more than 5 cm to measure. As long as it is not covered by debris or silt, water turbidity or bubbles do not affect measurement; it can measure in both clear and muddy water; it can also measure reverse flow velocity.
It features an independent cloud platform server. The server software can receive water level, temperature, and flow velocity information sent from on-site sensors, display and store it on the screen, and also calculate the on-site flow rate from the above data.
