I.Ultrasonic Open Channel Flow Meter Purpose
The ultrasonic open channel flow meter is used in conjunction with a measuring weir tank to measure the flow of water in open channels. It is mainly used for monitoring the flow of sewage discharge outlets in wastewater treatment plants, enterprises, and institutions, urban sewer systems, as well as channels in agricultural water conservancy projects.

II. Principle of the Ultrasonic Open Channel Flow Meter
The ultrasonic flow meter directly measures the liquid level in the channel or flume. When used for open channel flow measurement, a measuring weir tank is installed in the channel. The weir tank converts the flow rate in the channel into a corresponding liquid level. The instrument measures the water level in the weir tank and then calculates the flow rate according to the stage-discharge relationship of the specific weir tank.
