Ultrasonic Level Difference Meter (Level, Material Level, Liquid Level) Manual

Ultrasonic level difference meter (material level, liquid level) is used to measure the height difference between the liquid levels or material levels of two different containers.

The most common application is at the inlet of wastewater treatment plants, where it measures the water level before and after the coarse and fine screens, calculates the water level difference, and uses this to start the reverse-raking trash removal machine to clear debris. It is also installed before and after gates to measure the water level difference and determine the timing for opening the gates.

Ultrasonic level difference meter also comes in a version that does not measure level difference, but instead measures the water levels of two tanks and outputs two 4-20mA signals—one for each tank's level. This type is called a "dual-channel level meter."
