Ultrasonic open channel flow meter is designed based on the geometric principle that the propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in the medium is the same as the average flow velocity of the measured medium and the sound wave. The ultrasonic flow meter is a non-contact device that can be used in conjunction with an ultrasonic level meter in open and wide water areas. It does not cause interference or resistance to the fluid, so it is widely used for open channel flow measurement.
