"Stay True to the Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind" Thematic Education Activity

On October 19, 2019, the Party branch of Fuzhou Dayu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. organized Party members to visit Kongyuan Village and Jingxia Village in Baisha Town, Minhou County, for the "Stay True to the Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind" thematic education activity.

Seventy years ago, a battle once took place in Baisha Town—the“Jinzhong Mountain”Battle. The People's Liberation Army fought bloodily here to liberate Fuzhou and the entire Fujian province, leaving behind many memorial sites. More than forty years ago, many young people in the prime of their youth responded to Chairman Mao's and the Party Central Committee's call that“educated youth can achieve great things in the countryside”and settled here, leaving behind many traces of their lives and work in building a new countryside. The touching and heroic deeds of our predecessors in establishing and building New China are forever worthy of our remembrance and reverence.

Arriving at Kongyuan Village Ecological Park, we saw clusters of colorful flowers on the hillsides, fruit trees laden with fruits, and groups of people working joyfully with songs and laughter—everywhere displayed scenes of happiness and bountiful harvest. It was truly beautiful beyond words, making visitors reluctant to leave.

Is this not the achievement of several generations of hard work? In the activity room of the Kongyuan Ecological Park, we also held a joint discussion session on the“Stay True to the Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind”theme with the Party branch of the Insect Science Teaching and Research Section of the College of Plant Protection at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, who were also holding activities there. Through this visit and study, all Party members fully realized that a good life for the people comes through struggle, and that every Communist Party member must establish the concept of striving for the people's happiness and for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, doing their utmost to accomplish the tasks at hand.
