Dayu Electronics Attends Symposium on Development Environment for Small and Micro Enterprises

Yesterday, representatives of Dayu Electronics attended a symposium on the development environment for small and micro enterprises on the fourth floor of Huaxing Building, Fuzhou.

Attending the research wereMa Xianghui, Director of the SME Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Zhang Haiying, Division Chief, along with a delegation of6people.

Seven local Fuzhou enterprises, including Fuzhou Dayu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., spoke about the practical environment and difficulties enterprises face regarding VAT, social insurance, labor, land use, and loans.

1.VAT:From17%down to16%, since VAT allows input tax credits, only the difference is reduced by1percentage point. For Dayu, this means an annual reduction of0.3-0.5%.

2.Social insurance:For an employee with a salary of5,000yuan, full social insurance contributions amount to1,300yuan, making the total labor cost6,300yuan. This is for regular employees; technical staff command higher salaries and thus higher social insurance contributions.

Now, the tax authorities are to withhold and pay social insurance on behalf of employers. Their collection efficiency far surpasses that of the social insurance bureau, and previously underpaid or missing contributions will be recovered. In effect, this could offset the entire one-point VAT reduction and may even increase the burden further.

For enterprises, it is essential not only to consider the nominal tax burden but also the comprehensive tax burden. We must ensure that a decrease in one tax does not lead to an increase in another.
