The real variable lies in the state of the water body. Under high flow velocity, as water passes around the sensor probe, it creates strong local turbulence and simultaneously entrains a large amount of air, forming bubbles. If these bubbles attach or accumulate beneath the probe's transmitting surface, they can severely obstruct acoustic wave penetration, causing significant attenuation or even loss of echo signals. This is the core reason for data fluctuations under high-flow conditions.

To address this issue, our solution is straightforward: install the sensor properly at a depth of 40 to 60 centimeters below the water surface. This depth avoids the most intense water-air mixing zone near the surface, placing the probe in a relatively stable water layer. At this position, bubble concentration is significantly reduced, allowing ultrasonic waves to pass through the water with lower loss and reliably receive signals reflected from the bottom, thereby ensuring continuous, stable, and reliable measurement data.

In other words, the device's flow-resistant design and signal processing algorithms have already fully compensated for flow velocity variations; users only need to ensure the installation depth is correct, and the instrument handles the rest.
