Dayu Electronics External-Mount Ultrasonic Level Switch: A Breakthrough in Non-Contact Measurement
The tank is already in production, and the system is running smoothly.
Suddenly someone asks: "Do we need to drill a hole to install this level switch? Will it leak in the future?"
Your heart skips a beat.
Especially in scenarios involving corrosive media or volatile liquids—
Drilling a hole adds one more sealing point;
Contact adds one more corrosion risk;
Hot work adds one more approval process.
Technically it can be done, but no one dares to say "absolutely no problem."

Is there a way—
No drilling, no insertion into the tank, no contact with the medium—
Yet still able to determine whether the level has been reached?
The answer is simple: mount the sensor on the outside.

Dayu Electronics External-Mount Ultrasonic Level Switch moves "monitoring" from inside the tank to outside the tank. Two transducers are installed on the outer wall of the container. Using the ultrasonic through-beam principle, it exploits the huge acoustic impedance difference between liquid and air to determine whether liquid exists between the two transducers.
Is it air in between? Signal stable.
Becomes liquid? Immediately detected, and a relay signal is output.
The entire judgment cycle takes about 15 ms.
It doesn't plot complex curves—it gives you a crisp, clear answer: yes or no.
This non-contact method eliminates at the source issues such as transducer corrosion, seal aging, and medium leakage.

No modification to the tank, no production downtime, and lower maintenance costs.
The product supports 10.8–26.4 VDC wide voltage input, features power and status LEDs, and has an IP65 protection rating. It is suitable for dense, non-foaming containers made of plastic, glass, or stainless steel. Widely used in the pharmaceutical, petroleum, chemical, and food industries for high/low level alarms or dry-run protection in pipelines.
Installation is also straightforward:
Arrange the two transducers horizontally, about 1 meter apart, away from welds and strong interference sources; route cables downward with a drip loop—attention to detail ensures long-term stability.

At the end of the day, what many sites truly need is not "more complex features" but "fewer risks."
So, the next time you face corrosive media, volatile liquids, or any scenario where you "don't want to touch the tank,"
Don't hesitate over approval processes, welding, and sealing.
Two transducers, mounted outside the tank, give you an answer in 15 ms.
Dayu Electronics External-Mount Ultrasonic Level Switch—safeguards the bottom line of level safety in a "non-intrusive" way.
