Our customer asked us: What type of ultrasonic sensor is best for accurately measuring the height of water-based paint in a 400 mm tall paint bucket? Our answer is the Dayu Electronics dual-probe distance sensor, for the following reasons.
Standard single-probe ultrasonic sensors are limited by their physical structure, and in small-range applications like 400 mm, the bottom blind zone can be as high as tens of centimeters. This means that when only a small amount of paint remains in the bucket, the sensor may no longer "see" the liquid surface, causing measurement failure. In contrast, our dual-probe sensor, with its separated transmitter and receiver design, successfully reduces the blind zone to ≤10 cm. Even in a shallow 400 mm deep bucket, it can accurately capture subtle changes in the liquid level, ensuring that every drop of raw material is effectively measured.

In addition, given the methanol content in the medium, Dayu Electronics' sensor probe features a special anti-corrosion material encapsulation that withstands chemical solvent attack, ensuring long-term stability.
