The design purposes of the two are different. Communication sensors focus on the modulation, demodulation, and transmission of underwater data, with signal processing logic and transmit/receive timing optimized around information encoding and decoding. In contrast, distance measurement sensors (such as obstacle avoidance sensors) calculate distance based on pulse echo time difference, requiring fast refresh, threshold judgment, and stable output. Directly mixing them can lead to inaccurate measurements or even failure to work.

Approach 1: Develop your own circuit and software
It is recommended to use our DYW-50/200-NA transducer.
