Dayu Electronics: Stable Data Transmission Capability of Ultrasonic Doppler Current Meter
In actual engineering applications and product testing stages, ensuring that equipment can transmit data stably and accurately in complex environments is crucial. Recently, we conducted a common yet important test on theultrasonic Doppler current meter—verifying its data communication function in a confined water environment (such as a standard water bucket). This test not only reflects the equipment's environmental adaptability and system integration capabilities, but also demonstrates Dayu Electronics' rigorous approach to product reliability verification.

During the test, the ultrasonic Doppler current meter was fully submerged in the water bucket and kept powered on. Since the water was still and the container space was limited, the device could not detect any effective flow velocity (the flow velocity data displayed zero at that time), but this is precisely an effective way to simulate extreme conditions and verify data link stability.

The focus of the test was to verify whether the device could upload real-time collected water depth data normally through a serial port server based on the RS-485 communication protocol. In the actual connection, communication was established between the device and the serial port server via a 485 interface, and continuous transmission of water depth data was successfully achieved, indicating that the communication module operates stably in confined environments, with a reliable and unblocked data link.

This test result has multiple implications: it confirms that the device can maintain normal communication even in scenarios with no flow velocity signal, making it suitable for various debugging and integration environments; through the standard RS-485 interface and serial port server connection, it facilitates integration into existing monitoring systems or IoT platforms; users can verify wiring, communication, and data parsing processes in advance using a similar simple setup before installation, reducing on-site debugging difficulty.
