Dayu Electronics: Overcoming Test Tube Liquid Defoaming Challenges with High-Power Transducer Technology
In R&D and quality control processes across fine chemicals, biopharmaceuticals, and materials science, the purity of liquids inside test tubes directly affects the accuracy of experimental results and the stability of product performance. Among these, residual micro-bubbles in the liquid often become an invisible barrier to uniformity and reaction efficiency. Recently, a customer reported a challenge: when processing liquid in a test tube measuring 200 mm in length and 20 mm in diameter, even with a nominally rated 100 W ultrasonic transducer, they were unable to effectively eliminate internal bubbles, impacting subsequent processes.

This case is not an isolated one. In conventional low- to medium-power ultrasonic defoaming equipment, the energy may not be sufficient to generate a strong cavitation field within the limited volume of a test tube. The core principle of ultrasonic defoaming lies in the cavitation effect—the transducer converts electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibrations, creating alternating compression and rarefaction phases in the liquid, thereby generating and collapsing numerous micro-bubbles, which promotes the coalescence and escape of dissolved or suspended gases. If the input power is insufficient and the cavitation intensity is too low, it becomes difficult to thoroughly disrupt bubble stability or drive the merging and rising of micro-bubbles.
Addressing this industry pain point, Dayu Electronics leverages its extensive experience in power electronics and transducer design to offer a robust solution: our customized power drive circuit supports up to 500 W of stable power output to the transducer. This means that, tailored to the customer's specific tube dimensions and liquid properties, we can provide a transducer system with energy density far exceeding that of conventional solutions. Higher power translates to stronger cavitation effects, a wider effective range, and faster processing speeds, penetrating the liquid depth to ensure thorough defoaming even at the bottom of the test tube—thereby resolving the stubborn bubble issues that 100 W devices cannot handle.

Our technical advantage extends beyond high power output. Dayu Electronics deeply understands the core role of ultrasonic transducers as energy conversion devices. Through precise circuit matching and transducer structural design, we ensure efficient conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy, which is then accurately delivered to the liquid medium via the horn. This high-power, high-efficiency solution is particularly suitable for R&D experiments, pilot-scale scale-up, and high-end manufacturing scenarios with demanding requirements for defoaming efficiency and processing speed.
Choosing Dayu Electronics' high-power transducer solution means opting for a reliable, efficient, and clean physical defoaming method. We are committed to using innovative power technology to clear away minor obstacles in our customers' processes, enhancing product quality and production efficiency.
