The role of reservoir discharge flow: During the flood season, when floods approach, floodwater exceeding the safe water level of the downstream river channel is temporarily stored in the reservoir by controlling the discharge flow, achieving the function of impounding water during the flood season. In the dry season, according to the water demand of downstream cities, industry, and domestic use, the reservoir's stored water is released through discharge facilities to ensure water supply security. For agricultural areas, a stable irrigation water source is provided based on crop growth cycles.
Flow monitoring product selection:
We can use the ultrasonic Doppler velocimeter produced by Fuzhou Dayu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. to measure the flow velocity and water level of the discharge channel, and then use Dayu Electronics' self-developed flow totalizer to calculate accurate instantaneous flow and cumulative flow. If the Doppler velocimeter is installed strictly according to requirements, the flow error can be within ±5%. Additionally, we need to equip a data acquisition telemetry terminal to collect the real-time flow velocity, real-time water level, instantaneous flow, and cumulative flow measured by the flowmeter. Real-time data is transmitted via wireless 4G to Dayu Electronics' data management platform. In addition, a sub-account can be provided for the management staff to log in and view the data, or the telemetry terminal can interface with the owner's data management platform to transmit raw data to a designated server according to the required transmission frequency.
