Ultrasonic Level Meter for Slurry Measurement [Dayu Electronics]
I. Product Features:
Ultrasonic level meter is a non-contact, high-precision, cost-effective, and easy-to-install and maintain level and liquid level measurement instrument. It can meet level measurement requirements without contacting the medium. When measuring the level in tanks or slurry pits, the installation position must be selected based on the on-site conditions, calculating the obstruction-free space range to ensure measurement accuracy. Since slurry buildup is severe, we use the acute emission angle as the basis for calculating the obstruction-free space range.

IV. Customer Measurement Requirements and Conditions:
1. Need to measure the level height of the slurry pit; medium: slurry.
2. Slurry pit height: 1.2 meters; installation position width: 20 cm; severe on-site material buildup.
3. Install a domestic ultrasonic level meter to replace imported instruments.
V. Product Selection Recommendations:
Choose an integrated ultrasonic level meter with a measurement range height of 1.2 meters. The ultrasonic transducer should be selected with a frequency of 100 kHz. The transducer model is: DYA-100-02PE-FB, material: PVDF, maximum measurement range: 2 meters. (Transducer features: blind zone only 130 mm, emission angle beam width: half-power angle @-3dB: 4.8°±10%, sharpness angle: 11.3°±10%.)

VII. Installation Requirements:
1. Due to severe slurry buildup, we use the sharpness angle for calculating the obstruction-free space; the sharpness angle of this transducer is 11.3°. After calculation, when the slurry pit is completely empty, the radiation range is a circle of 0.25 meters in diameter. After installation, fine adjustment is required. The product can be adjusted to use transducer 3 or 2 for measurement, and the measurement mode can be set to slow speed to overcome interference from buildup signals and achieve accurate measurement.
2. The transducer connection thread size is: M48*2, so a 50 mm hole must be drilled for installation.
3. The ultrasonic level meter must be effectively grounded during installation, and all wiring must use shielded cables, routed in separate conduits.
