1. Project Basic Information

2. Project Background and Objectives
This project is the agricultural water pricing reform (water level and flow) monitoring project in Zhaxiang County, Tibet Autonomous Region. With the increasing demands of agricultural development for the rational use of water resources, as well as the growing urgency of summer flood control and ecological water environment balance management, the local area urgently needs to establish an intelligent agricultural irrigation water balance management and control system. By real-time monitoring of water level and flow data in open irrigation channels, it enables precise measurement and scientific allocation of water usage, while providing timely and accurate information support for flood control efforts and ensuring the balance of the ecological water environment.

3. Monitoring Scope and Content
Real-time water level and flow monitoring will be carried out on all 6 open irrigation channels across Zhaxiang County, Tibet Autonomous Region. By installing monitoring equipment at key locations along the channels, real-time water level and flow data from the site will be transmitted to the backend server, allowing relevant local departments to promptly view and understand channel operating conditions, thus enabling quicker and more effective decision-making and work arrangements.

4. Product Selection and Features
(1) Product Selection
Based on the on-site inspection and the specific requirements proposed by the owner, this project selects the Ultrasonic Open Channel Flowmeter without Weir (GPRS wireless transmission type) manufactured by Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. as the front-end data measurement and transmission equipment.
(2) Product Features
The flowmeter is equipped with the following functions:
1. Front-end Data Measurement: Capable of accurately measuring both water level and flow data in the channel, providing accurate baseline information for subsequent data transmission and analysis.
2. Data Transmission: Through GPRS wireless transmission technology, the real-time measured water level, instantaneous flow rate, and cumulative flow data are transmitted to the backend server sub-account opened by Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. for the owner.
3. Remote Viewing: The owner and relevant department personnel can log in to the backend server sub-account remotely via mobile phone or computer to view real-time water level, instantaneous flow rate, and cumulative flow data at any time and from anywhere, making it convenient to stay informed about channel operating dynamics.

5. Power Supply System Design
Due to the lack of available power at the project site, a solar power supply system is selected to provide 12V DC power for the Ultrasonic Open Channel Flowmeter (GPRS wireless transmission type) to ensure its normal operation. The solar power supply system has the advantages of being environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and sustainable, capable of providing stable and reliable power support for the equipment without external power sources, ensuring the continuity and accuracy of monitoring work.
Through the implementation of this project, the intelligent management level of agricultural irrigation water in Zhaxiang County, Tibet Autonomous Region will be effectively improved, providing strong support for flood control work and ecological water environment balance management, promoting the sustainable development of local agriculture and the protection of the ecological environment.
