Application of Dayu Electronics Split-Type Explosion-Proof Ultrasonic Level Meter in Chemical Wastewater Tank

Project Overview: This project involves level monitoring of a water tank at a chemical plant in Tianjin. To prevent overflow due to excessive water levels and its impact on the plant, effective monitoring and post-alarm handling measures are implemented in advance. Real-time level monitoring of the chemical wastewater tank allows the real-time level data to be transmitted to the control room. The PLC cabinet is set with a high-level alarm, and the high-level alarm contact switch output is connected to an external audible and visual alarm to remind relevant plant staff to take timely action.
Product Replacement Selection: The tank stores industrial wastewater with temperatures ranging from 10 to 50°C, and gas may volatilize. Due to the previous instrument's protection rating of IP66, gas ingress caused internal circuit board and display damage in the previously installed integrated explosion-proof level meter due to moisture. To prevent recurrence, based on on-site conditions and chemical plant explosion-proof requirements, the manufacturer selected is Fuzhou Dayu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.'s split-type explosion-proof ultrasonic level meter. The probe is physically sealed and potted to achieve IP68 protection, with integrated cable connection to the transmitter. The transmitter head is placed in a waterproof and explosion-proof box near the tank, eliminating concerns about gas influence, for collecting front-end liquid level, empty height, and ambient temperature data.
