III. Metering Prepayment and Remote Monitoring

By utilizing remote flowmeter monitoring and control, real-time data monitoring of the pipeline flow status of the entire project can be achieved. This not only allows for comprehensive understanding of the actual working status of the equipment, but also enables quick and accurate identification of meter faults and water flow over-limit alarm information, facilitating timely inspection and repair by maintenance personnel. This not only saves a significant amount of manpower and material resources, but also greatly improves the modern management level of the pipe network. With the IC card prepayment water usage system, if monitoring personnel detect suspicious activity by a user, meter reading personnel and inspection personnel can immediately conduct on-site investigations, facilitating management work.

The IC card prepayment system mainly consists of four parts:
1. Electromagnetic flowmeter;
2. Prepayment control cabinet (prepayment controller, alarm switch, instrument protection cabinet, etc.);
3. Software including remote monitoring system and recharging system;
4. Including card reader and magnetic card.
Main functions and features of the IC card prepayment intelligent control system:
1. System advancement: Full Chinese LCD display, intuitive, simple, and convenient, with intelligent prompts for each operation, enabling easy operation.
2. High confidentiality: The recharging device has a unique serial number, data is dynamically encrypted, achieving one card for one meter, one-to-one binding, providing higher confidentiality.
3. Record storage and inquiry: The energy supply unit can centrally issue cards, recharge, and accurately record the time and amount of recharging;
4. Communication and inquiry functions: Various meter operating condition data and parameters such as purchased flow and valve position can be uploaded to the central server via the GPRS module, and can be queried in real-time via computer or mobile phone.
5. Multiple bidirectional alarm functions: Prevents illegal opening of the enclosure. When the enclosure is opened illegally, the system automatically alarms, flow and other data are uploaded, and SMS alerts can also be sent as an option.
6. Lightning protection function: The cabinet is equipped with a lightning protection module, but the control cabinet must be reliably grounded.
7. Price management: Different water prices can be set in the recharging software for different users, and can be modified at any time.

IC card prepayment system equipment:
The equipment connects to the electromagnetic flowmeter and transmits data from the flowmeter (cumulative flow, instantaneous flow, power-off time, etc.) to the controller via serial port communication. After the computer management software recharges the IC card, the IC card indicates a successful card swipe, and the purchased water volume is input into the controller, which performs real-time calculations on the received meter data and recharging data. When the water balance corresponding to the IC card controller is used up, the controller sends a valve closing signal to control the valve closing degree, achieving the goal of automated prepayment management.
