Fault at Yongtai Baiyun Reservoir Successfully Resolved on Site for Doppler Flow Meter
A fault at the Yongtai Baiyun Reservoir Hydropower Station with the Doppler flow meter was successfully resolved on site.
The Fuzhou Yongtai Baiyun Reservoir Hydropower Station has long been using our Doppler flow meter for flow velocity and flow rate measurement, and it has consistently delivered stable performance and excellent results. Yesterday, they suddenly called to report that two units on site were showing no data. Our technical department engineers promptly arrived at the reservoir site after receiving the feedback. Through inspection and testing, we found that the two Doppler flow meters installed by the reservoir staff themselves had no signal for the following reasons: one unit had a disconnected cable, which cut off power to the Doppler flow meter; the other unit's battery was depleted. After reconnecting and restoring power, both Doppler flow meters returned to normal operating condition.
We resolved the issue promptly with a service-first approach, prioritizing the customer's urgent needs and thinking from the customer's perspective, which earned their recognition and approval.
