Innovative Application of Ultrasonic Level Meter in Chemical Dosing Tank Measurement! [DAYU Electronics]
Application Case of Ultrasonic Level Meter in Chemical Dosing Tank Measurement
1. Application Background
As a non-contact level measurement instrument, the ultrasonic level meter is widely used in various water level and material level measurement scenarios due to its high accuracy, high reliability, and broad applicability. In this case, the ultrasonic level meter is specifically applied to measure the liquid level in a chemical dosing tank.
2. On-site Environment and Challenges
No Holes in Tank: Since the tank was not originally designed with holes for installing a level meter, special measures are required for level measurement.
Corrosive Medium: The medium inside the tank is corrosive and cannot come into direct contact with measurement equipment, which imposes higher requirements for the selection and installation of the level meter.
Tank Height: The tank is relatively tall, requiring an extended measurement distance to ensure accurate measurement of the entire liquid level.

3. Solution
To address the above challenges, we adopted the following solutions:
Extended Measurement Distance: By selecting an ultrasonic level meter with a longer measurement range and extending its probe, we ensure accurate measurement of the liquid level at the bottom of the tank.
Non-contact Measurement: Using the non-contact measurement principle of the ultrasonic level meter, we avoid the corrosion problem caused by the medium coming into contact with the measurement equipment.
On-site Installation Guidance: We dispatched after-sales personnel to the site to guide the customer in bracket installation and equipment commissioning, ensuring measurement accuracy and stability.

4. Implementation Results
After on-site guidance and installation by our after-sales personnel, the ultrasonic level meter successfully resolved the issues of liquid level blind spots and corrosion protection in the tank. On-site measurement results show that the level meter provides high accuracy and excellent stability, fully meeting the customer's measurement requirements.

5. Environmental Description
In this case, the medium in the chemical dosing tank is corrosive and cannot be directly contacted. Additionally, the tank is relatively tall, requiring an extended measurement distance. By selecting the ultrasonic level meter and implementing the corresponding solutions, we successfully overcame these challenges and achieved accurate measurement of the liquid level in the tank.
In summary, ultrasonic level meters have broad application prospects and advantages in chemical dosing tank measurement. Through proper selection and installation, accurate and stable measurement of the tank liquid level can be achieved, providing strong support for the customer's production and operation.
