Ultrasonic Doppler Flowmeter English Version Modbus Communication Protocol
Ultrasonic Doppler flowmeter is a type of velocity flowmeter. When ultrasound propagates through a fluid, its propagation speed changes with the fluid flow velocity; when ultrasound is reflected by small particles moving with the fluid, its frequency changes with the particle movement velocity (Doppler shift). By detecting the effect of fluid flow on the ultrasonic beam (or ultrasonic pulse), the flow velocity can be obtained, and the flow rate can be calculated based on parameters such as the pipe cross-sectional area.
MODBUS—RTU communication protocol
1、 The hardware is adopted with RS-485, master-slave half-duplex communication, that is, the host calls the slave address, and the slave answers.
2、 Data frame: 10 digits, 1 start bit, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit, without verification.
Baud rate: 1200, 2400, 4800 and 9600 (9600 by default).
